Beskrivelse
Machined in Norway for Strength and Accuracy
Base plates milled from solid stock – no injection molding. Extremely robust, durable, and virtually indestructible. All milling and turning operations for the plates, bearings, and eccentrics are carried out by us in Norway using high-precision machinery. Each rest is a one-off and individually customized to the customer.
A Unique Bidirectional Arrow Rest Principle
The arrow rests on a support wire that is held in place magnetically. Due to the incline of the rest, the arrow is always securely positioned (against the button). The BiDrop moves bidirectionally—rotating downward and toward the button—under vertical load. This completely eliminates the vertical recoil (bouncing) at the moment of release. The support wire automatically returns to its original position after each shot. The BiDrop is the only arrow rest that operates according to this functional principle. The force acting on the rest is determined by several parameters: total arrow weight, FOC and point weight, limb synchronization, limb performance, nocking point height, and the plunger setting. Because the requirements for the release moment vary widely, there are three models available with different resistance levels. Thanks to its absolutely reliable and flawless function, the BiDrop is the choice of countless top archers around the world!
Bidrop 2020
The latest and most technically advanced model.
Mechanism mounted on a 90° angled mounting plate.
Synchronous bidirectional rotation around the arrow flight axis.
Movement simultaneously downward and toward the riser.
Individually Adjustable Release Moment
The release moment is defined by the horizontal angle of the launcher wire relative to the arrow:
Shallow angle (wire tip 2–3 mm from the arrow)
→ Large lever effect on the magnet
→ Soft response
→ Ideal for light arrows (200–400 gr)
Steep angle (5–7 mm)
→ Shorter lever
→ Harder response
→ Ideal for heavy arrows (400–700 gr)
Advantages of the BiDrop 2020
No adaptation of the launcher wire to riser thickness or arrow diameter required
Infinitely adjustable angle
Mechanical release moment freely and individually selectable
Magnetic Tuning Package
In combination with the Magnetic Tuning Package developed by me
(1 weaker and 2 stronger magnets), the magnetic release moment can be further fine-tuned individually.
Unique Worldwide
The combination of freely selectable mechanical and magnetic resistance represents a unique selling point worldwide.
